Wendy Richards Dying

Of cancer, no surprise.Everyone seems to be dying of cancer or at least getting it these days.

My dad got cancer. My uncle got cancer. My nephew got cancer. Practically everyone I know in my little village has had cancer, has it or are going to die from it. There's even a guy in my village who is dying from cancer and is planning his funeral. Horrible, isn't it?

So yeah, Wendy Richards, the infamous actress who played Pauline Fowler in Eastenders. She has cancer in a lot of places apparently and it has spread a lot as well.I admit, when I was younger, I used to watch Eastenders every day. ONLY because my mum did and I had nothing else to do. So therefore, it is really sad that she's dying. She might have played a nosy grumpy bitch in Eastenders but that was just a character. A character who got pissed off and tried to take Sonia's kid away from her when she had a lesbian relationship, too.

Yes, I manage to bring this back to lesbians. Lesbians are somewhat rare in Eastenders. Only three sniffs at lesbianism in all the years the soap has been on tv. First lesbian relationship was before my time, I think. Either way, I read that it was rather homophobic to start with but they braved it out and had a happy ending. (OMG A HAPPY ENDING FOR LESBIANS ON TV?!) After that, it was a kiss between two girls, one of them being Michele Ryan. God, I have to see if I can find that. But no, they're not gay, they just kissed 'cause they thought they were going to die. Funny that. "Omg we're going to die, let's make out!" Then it was Sonia and Naomi. A total crash and burn. I think it's best if they just give it up for now, eh Eastenders?

Back on topic... Wendy Richards. I'm sorry.

Is it me or does the chick on the right look like she's not really enjoying it?

These are the two chicks that kissed cause they were dying! Girl on the left = Michelle Ryan = OH MY GOD GORGEOUS SEXY HOT.

I told you she was hot. On that note; check her TV show Bionic Woman. It was cancelled after the first season, thanks to the writers strike and the fact that it apparantly took four million bucks for each epsiode to be made. But man, she was kick-ass in it.

Grandparent's Day

I didn't even know there was a Grandparents Day until yesterday. They seem to have a day for everything now.

But this makes me wonder; are there lesbian grandparents?

I mean, there must be. But I've never heard of any. (Which isn't exactly saying something.)

Unless you count that granny chick that kissed that girl on "Not Another Teen Movie" spoof.

But she's not really... a lesbian, is she?

I really do have to wonder what kind of person she is though, to be willing to snog a young girl for some money.

Lucky bitch. Probably the best thing she'll ever get before she pops her clogs.

Who I Am

I have to admit, I've always wanted to have my own website, where I can just talk and say what I want. Especially about lesbians.

It's probably just me, but where I live, being able to express who I am and talk all the time about lesbians, is unheard of.

SO. I am going to make the most of this place and TALK ABOUT LESBIANS.

I have been told I'm rather lesbian orientated. I'm sorry about this, but it's a big part of who I am that I feel is suppressed. Therefore, when I can talk about it, it seems to tumble out my mouth like the river Thames bursting the dam.

I don't intend to just ramble on about my life, which I'm sure is pretty boring to read about, but instead to talk about things going on in the lesbian world. A world that I'm unfortunately trying desperately to get a part in, even if living in a little village in Devon in England makes it extremely hard. :)

Let's this thing rolling;

Big fan of The L Word, of course. I think that's one of the marks of being a lesbian, you have to have seen and love The L Word. I mean, why not? It's a groundbreaking tv series that basically opened doorways for us and thrust us into mainstream. We have a lot to thank The L Word for. And c'mon, hot girls making out? How can we not love it?!

Being in the UK, I'm behind by at least a season. And because I'm deaf, I wait for the DVD's which have subtitles. Therefore, whereas people are talking about the end of Season Five and the prospect of Season Six, I'm still happily basking in the warm feeling of Season Four. (Which I must have re-watched a million times now.)

I have several lesbian movies, secretly bought from the likes of eBay. *snickersnicker* And many have been watched on YouTube as well! Ah the perks of internet.

Last but not least, I get DIVA every month! Nearly got a heartattack when I opened this month's and saw sixty naked lesbians on the front. http://i34.tinypic.com/j7qfqt.jpg  Hawt. Even more heartattack risks, I'm sunk in my chair, reading this magazine, when my grandma walks in. That's TWICE she's done that now. I get my magazine and read it one day of every month and she's picked the last two months of those days to come see me. Sods law.

You know... I think I'm gonna enjoy this. Bring on the lesbians.
